Transition House, a city nonprofit domestic violence prevention agency, is greening its Emergency Shelter, a 120-year-old building that houses more than 100 people each year.

Apple finally unveiled its iPad, a tablet computer that will (along with several other functions) serve as a reader for e-books. There were revelations but also confirmation the Cambridge company e-Ink will be just fine despite the competition.
