042114i-999-Massachusetts-AveAn arraignment is expected Tuesday for the man accused of hitting the Bo Concept high-end furniture store with his car over the weekend.

Things just kept getting worse for Jamie Knight, from Jackson Gardens, even after his car hit 999 Massachusetts Ave. at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday, and even after he backed up and hit another car, said Jeremy Warnick, director of communications and media relations for the Cambridge Police Department. Warnick started in the position March 17 after the department’s previous communications specialist moved to a public relations firm in November.

As Knight got out of his car, “a firearm fell to the ground,” Warnick said.

Finally, while Knight was being booked at the police station, drugs were found hidden on him, Warnick said.

Knight is being charged with Operating to Endanger; Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition; and Possession With Intent to Distribute Class D.

The collision with the second car resulted in a minor injury, and the injured person was taken to Cambridge Hospital, Warnick said.
