Electing a top attorney general should be a priority for all Massachusetts residents. I strongly believe that Warren Tolman is the best candidate for the job. Warren brings years of experience from his work in the Massachusetts state legislature, where he led on important progressive issues such as campaign finance reform, reducing domestic violence and implementing early childhood education.
As a candidate, Warren has bold and innovative ideas that can help increase the quality of life for all Massachusetts residents. Warren will make guns safer via smart-gun technology, which prevents anyone other than the owner from firing a gun. He is committed to tackling the increasing plague of opiate abuse and ending campus sexual assault. Warren has taken an aggressive stance on important issues that affect people’s daily lives and in some cases, will save lives.
As a state legislator, Warren took on Big Tobacco, and as an attorney general he plans to stand up to the National Rifle Association. Massachusetts deserves an attorney general that is not afraid to stand up to powerful outside interests to protect the lives of the people of the Commonwealth.
On Sept. 9, I will be voting for Warren Tolman for attorney general, and I urge you to do the same.
