Mike Connolly

From the Mike Connolly campaign, Sept. 8, 2015: I launch my fall campaign for the City Council at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lilypad, 1353 Cambridge St., Inman Square.

Election Day is now eight weeks away. I hope to see you Tuesday as I launch my fall campaign. I need your support to continue with the work I have been doing over the past four years as a climate activist, a community organizer, and most recently, as a legislative aide working in City Hall.

In the midst of the historic development boom, I am running to help provide a more balanced perspective on important land use issues, starting with the need to move forward on a comprehensive housing plan to keep Cambridge affordable for current residents, while also advancing the net zero emissions plan and other top priorities, including the preservation and creation of public open space.

I am also happy to say that I will be introduced by city councillor Dennis Carlone, Fresh Pond Residents Alliance president and council candidate Jan Devereux, Mid-Cambridge resident and my campaign chairwoman Phyllis Bretholtz, and my good friend and campaign treasurer, Frank Gerratana.

There will also be beer, wine and light refreshments.

Friends, supporters and all Cambridge residents are welcome to attend. To RSVP and for information, click here.
