From the City of Cambridge, Aug. 17, 2015: Cambridge-based early-stage entrepreneurs in the clean energy, consumer products, high-tech and life sciences clusters can apply to the city’s Community Development Department to participate in a four-month program, run with The Capital Network, on navigating the fundraising process for a business. There will be an information session about the Cambridge Entrepreneurship Assistance Program led by the Launchpad Venture Group’s Jess McLear from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Venture Café on the fifth floor of the Cambridge Innovation Center, 1 Broadway, Kendall Square.

Applications will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis until May 1.

Some of the work is funded through Community Development Block Grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and businesses must be eligible under its guidelines, which are available here.
