From the City of Cambridge, March 22, 2016: April 22 is the deadline for résumés and letters of interest from residents interested in serving on the Cambridge Affordable Housing Trust.

Established in 1988, the trust administers and oversees city funds going to the creation and preservation of affordable rental and ownership housing and programs designed to meet the city’s affordable-housing needs. The trust reviews and acts on requests for funding for developments and programs, sets policies and standards for incentive-zoning and inclusionary-housing ordinances and provides housing policy and program advice to city staff, boards and commissions and to the City Council.

The trust is made up of residents and representatives of nonprofit housing organizations with expertise in affordable housing, housing policy, finance, urban planning and real estate development. It is led by City Manager Richard C. Rossi and typically meets from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of every month at City Hall.

To apply, submit a résumés and a brief letter describing your interest in serving and related experience. Final selection will be made by Rossi.

Deliver your materials to Rossi at the City of Cambridge, 795 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA 02139; fax them to (617) 349-4307; or send email to [email protected].
