From Cambridge Community Television, Sept. 7, 2016: CCTV’s Back Lot BBQ fundraiser for its Youth Media Program, to be held at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 22, will feature food grilled by local chefs, live music by Zili Misik and a silent auction – and, this year, presentation of the Rossi Award for Creative and Responsive Leadership.

The award will be presented this year to retiringCity Manager Richard C. Rossi.

Three people will be inducted at the barbecue to CCTV’s honorary board: Didi Delgado, poet and founder of Black Lives Matter Cambridge; Robert Hurlbut, former executive director of the Cambridge Community Foundation; and Derrick Z. Jackson, columnist and associate editor for The Boston Globe.

The event will be held at 438 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square, with entrance on Green Street between Brookline and Sidney streets. For information and reservations, click here.
