Here’s a deal for members of the U.S. Electoral College who will soon cast a vote for either Republican Donald Trump or Democrat Hillary Clinton to lead the country for the next four years:

If you’ve committed to vote for the Republican candidate but would be willing to switch your vote to the Democratic candidate, I will pay any “faithless elector” fines you’ll face, or make sure those fines are covered. You can swap and suffer no financial damage. This isn’t a bribe, obviously, just an offer that frees you to rethink a decision without having to fear a fine.

This offer extends to any elector who has previously declared against Clinton, including the gentleman in Washington who believes Clinton doesn’t care enough about American Indians.

Clinton won the popular vote Tuesday, but lost the expected electoral vote.
