From the Kendall Square Mobility Task Force, Feb. 24, 2017: The second and final public meeting of the Kendall Square Mobility Task Force takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 28 in the first-floor East Arcade Conference Room at One Main St., Kendall Square.

The purpose of the meeting is to present and discuss the draft recommendations of the task force, which has met eight times over the past 22 months. Public input will be discussed and the recommendations finalized at the final task force meeting, due to take place in about one month.

The task force, which includes representatives from the city, state Department of Transportation, Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority, institutions, private businesses and organizations, was established in 2015 to take a comprehensive look at mobility issues in the Kendall Square area of Cambridge, with the goal of developing a set of policy and project recommendations. The meeting will include time for open discussion at the beginning and end, with a presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting room location is at the very end of the building near Memorial Drive, with the entrance on the corner closest to the Longfellow Bridge. This map shows the walking route from the Kendall/MIT red line T station.
