From the City of Cambridge, Feb. 27, 2017: A free presentation on “Living with Coyotes” will be held 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 9 at the Walter J. Sullivan Water Department facility at 250 Fresh Pond Parkway, in West Cambridge at Fresh Pond.

John Maguranis, Belmont’s animal control officer and the state’s representative for Project Coyote, will discuss what’s called the “most misunderstood and remarkable animal in North America,” including the animals’ behavior, myths and facts, habits and diet and identification, as well as helpful information related to pet and human safety.

The program is sponsored by Cambridge’s Animal Commission and Water Department.
