From the Council on Aging, March 13, 2017: A free workshop called “Handle with Care: Boosting Insight and Motivation to Reduce Clutter” is coming from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 6 to the Citywide Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square, to educate people about hoarding and show approaches to help a family member or friend – or yourself – gain motivation to work on decluttering.

During the two-hour session, social worker Suzanne Otte will explore facts (and fiction) about hoarding disorder and tips on reducing clutter will be discussed. “Stuffed,” a documentary about the lives of three people who experience hoarding disorder, will also be shown.

Registration is not required, but appreciated. For information about this public forum, contact call Liz Seelman of Cambridge’s Department of Human Service Programs at (617) 349-6048 or send email to [email protected].
