In the second video released by the revived Black Student Union at Cambridge Rindge and Latin high school, students tell how their campus can feel hostile to students of color – not just from the thoughtless comments of their peers, but as a result of teachers’ suspicion, condescension and insult.

In stark black and white and shot through with emotion, “Cambridge’s Minority Reports: Volume 1” is powerful testimony that should be seen by everyone in Cambridge. It was filmed in the three weeks leading up to its Tuesday release by student members of the union who researched, interviewed and directed, said faculty adviser Kevin Dua, a history teacher.
