Visual and performing artists in all media are invited to participate in the 10th annual citywide Cambridge Arts Open Studios coming Sept. 29-30, either by opening their own studio to the public or setting up shop in common venues throughout the city, the city’s Cambridge Arts office said today in an email.

Registration opens Jan. 15 and ends March 15, but there are discounts for artists beating an early registration deadline of Feb. 15. Registration can be done online at cambridgeartscouncil.org/openstudios. Help for those new to the Open Studios is at the Cambridge Arts offices; call (617) 349-4380 with questions or to make an appointment.

An Open Studios Community Workshop on “How to Market Your Studio” is planned for 6 to 7:30 p.m Aug. 29 at a location to be announced, free and open to the public.

Participating artists are eligible for the Cambridge Arts’ Creative Marketplace Program, which includes additional exhibition, professional development and workshop opportunities.

For information about participating in either program, call Jannie Kitchen at (617) 349-4380 or send email to [email protected].
