From the Cambridge Democratic Caucus, Jan. 15, 2018: Democrats in Cambridge Wards 8 and 10 will hold caucuses at 2 p.m. Feb 4 at the Graham & Parks School, 44 Linnaean St., Neighborhood 9, to elect delegates to the Democratic State Convention.

Voters interested in becoming delegates to the convention or voting at the caucus must be registered as Democrats (same-day registration is available at the caucus). Registration for both caucuses will open an hour before the official starting time, and attendees must be inside or in line to register no later than 15 minutes after the starting time.

Delegates will be divided equally between men and women. Youth, minorities and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates may apply to be “add on” delegates. Discrimination on the basis of race, sex, age, color, creed, national origin, disability, religion, ethnic identity, sexual orientation or economic status in the conduct of the caucus is prohibited.

The Democratic State Convention will be held June 1-2 at the DCU Center in Worcester.
