The Cambridge electronic music scene pays a visit to Boston on Friday to feature in the Infrastructure Music Festival. The outdoor festival, hosted by Cambridge-based DJ collectives Infra and Keep On, will feature continuous underground techno and house music on two stages, one for the DJs of each organization.
More changes at the Cantab as booker departs, speaking of changes in club approach to bands
The longtime music booker for the Cantab Lounge in Central Square, Mickey Bliss, is out the door after 15 years. He says he was told that responsibility for booking bands in the downstairs space called the Cantab Underground would be taken from him and made less accommodating to bands in some ways.

The confusion and battle behind it represent another bump in the rough ride the bar has had returning to life in Central Square, during a pandemic – a time bar business has been, by all accounts, brutal.
