We’re falling behind in affordable housing, must demand real estate transfer fee now
We as a City Council pride ourselves on being regional leaders on issues such as affordable housing, immigrant rights and environmental protections, but we are falling woefully behind our regional allies on real estate transfer fees. I am reintroducing the fee to the council a third time March 16.

In 2013, the Federal Aviation Administration changed the flight paths at Logan Airport’s Runway 33L, resulting in two concentrated flight paths directly over North and West Cambridge. We need cooperation from everyone to undo this environmental and health hazard.
