From the Election Commission, Sept. 14, 2015: The municipal election will be held Nov. 3. For residents not already registered, the last day to register to vote is Oct. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Contact the Election Commission office to find out when absentee ballots will be available. Any voter who is unable to go to the polls on Election Day due to physical disability, religious belief or absence from the city may request an absentee ballot from the commission by noon Nov. 2. Absentee Ballots may be mailed to voters, or such voters may choose to vote at the Commission office during regular city office hours: 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday; and 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday. The office will also be open for absentee voting from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Oct. 30 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 31. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Election Day.
