To be hired, they must be registered to vote in Massachusetts, have good English skills, and be available to work from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Election Day.

To apply, download an election worker application here or stop by the Election Commission office at 51 Inman St., Mid-Cambridge. RSVP for the Recruitment Session via phone at (617) 349-4361 or by email at [email protected]. The recruitment session is at 6 p.m. July 13 at the Citywide Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square. (The recruitment session, with a short presentation followed by a chance for each person to meet with an election commissioner for a brief interview, is unpaid. Attendance does not guarantee you will be hired to work.)
