Free document shredding will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 5 in front of City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square, by the Cambridge Consumers’ Council in cooperation with the U.S. Postal Service.

Members of the public can dispose of personal and confidential paper documents securely and on the spot in a mobile shredding truck – first-come, first-served or until the truck is full – and sent to be recycled. The parking spots in front of City Hall will be used for drop-off of documents.
