Dear city councillors,

Councillor Leland Cheung has been a dedicated supporter and friend to neighborhoods across Cambridge since day one and is a clear choice for mayor. Despite some of the toughest economic times in history, councillor Cheung has been instrumental in passing policy that focuses on job creation, transparency, community responsiveness and growing the innovation economy. These key issues have never stopped being a priority for councillor Cheung, which is in part why Cambridge is recovering faster and stronger than most other cities and towns in the state. Councillor Cheung has always been present and accessible to residents from all corners of Cambridge and has been quick to respond to my e-mails and requests. He is a proven leader and current student at two of our city’s finest higher ed institutions who has earned the privilege to serve as mayor to continue to build on his record for change and unwavering commitment to the residents of Cambridge.
