Cambridge businesses interested in becoming city vendors are urged to attend a free, city-run 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Sept. 27 workshop to learn about the city’s buying policies, what the city most frequently buys and how to get on its vendor registry. Purchasing Department officials will be on hand to answer questions and learn about what your business can offer.

This workshop is designed for businesses who have little or no experience selling products or services to a potentially large customer, say leaders at Cambridge Local First, which has been working with members of the city Council and the Community Development Department to find ways for members to be grow their businesses.
