The Cambridge Employment Program hosts an information session for the Building Pathways Pre-Apprenticeship Program at 6 p.m. July 24 at 51 Inman St., Cambridge.

Building Pathways is looking for qualified people who want to begin careers as electricians, plumbers, sprinkler fitters, laborers and more. Building Pathways provides seven weeks of career exploration and hands-on experience in the building trades followed by placement in a union apprenticeship. Applicants must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or GED and an interest in the construction trades. They must also attend an information session to apply.
