050115i-Christmas-Revels

People who love to sing (and ideally do it well) should know there are a few slots left for adults to audition for this year’s “Christmas Revels” show at Harvard University’s Sanders Theatre, and many more slots available for kids.

Directed by Patrick Swanson with music direction by George Emlen, the Wales-set “Christmas Revels” features music, dance, carols and other traditional material from the region for 17 performances Dec. 11-27, with Tuesday rehearsals beginning Sept 29.

The Cambridge-based Revels traditional music group says it “seeks a diverse and talented volunteer chorus of adults and children to join us onstage” – meaning, in part, the professional performers brought in every year.

The 15-minute audition slots are all Monday. Adults can sign up here; kids can sign up here. Auditions (and most rehearsals) will be held at Grace Vision Church (formerly St. John’s) at 80 Mount Auburn St., Watertown.

Information on “The Christmas Revels” is here.
