Minka vanBeuzekom announced the kickoff for her campaign to return to the City Council after a term’s absence would be from 4 to 7 p.m. June 28.

“Let’s talk about making Cambridge better for all our families,” she said in a Sunday press release inviting for appetizers and drinks at the 100 Landsdowne St. apartment tower in University Park.

“My experience as an epidemiologist, business manager, housing specialist, parent and community leader dovetail perfectly with the demands of city governance,” she said in a campaign biography. She served as a city councillor during the 2012-13 term.
