From the City of Cambridge, on April 23, 2018:  The Outstanding City Employee Awards for the year, recognizing employees for superior performance, positive attitude, hard work and dedication to public service, will be presented at a 9 a.m. May 11 public ceremony in Sullivan Chamber at City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square.

City Manager Louis A. DePasquale will also present an award in memory of the late city councillor and assistant city manager Brian Murphy to a person committed to making government improve the lives of others.

The year’s outstanding city employees are Keplin Allwaters, an assistant city solicitor in the Law Department; Melinda Camara, fiscal manager for the Fire Department; Louis Cherubino Jr.,  a police sergeant; Sandra Christie, principal clerk in the City Clerk’s Office; Keith Fay, Danehy Park site supervisor with the Human Services Department; Michelle Godfrey, site director at the Center for Families in the Human Services Department; Muna Kangsen, program and event coordinator with the Library; Jennifer Lawrence, sustainability and associate Planner with the Community Development Department; James Rebello, Water Department system maintenance dispatcher; Rainier Rosado, parking control supervisor with the Traffic, Parking & Transportation Department; Tracy Rose-Tynes, clinical manager for school health services in the Public Health Department; Charles Sullivan, executive director of the Historical Commission; and Patricia Tuccinardi, an executive assistant with the Community Development Department.
