City sets Jan. 15 deadline for applications to join Commission on Status of Women
People interested in serving on the Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women should show interest by Jan. 15.
Commissioners support staff in a mission to create and promote programs that increase public awareness and understanding of issues affecting women and girls, particularly marginalized women and girls, within the city; advocate to improve the quality of their lives; and build coalitions and partner with community organizations on these issues.
The commission meets virtually at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month.
