The reopening of the Collins branch library, 64 Aberdeen Ave., West Cambridge near Fresh Pond, which closed Oct. 4 for upgrades to the roof, gutters, and ventilation system, has been postponed due to construction delays. The book drop at the Collins Branch will also remain closed. The closest other library branch, the Boudreau, also remains closed due to construction at 245 Concord Ave., at Observatory Hill in Neighborhood 9, though it was expected to reopen Oct. 4.
Collins also closed Sept. 3 for cleanup after heavy rains, reopening for regular hours Sept. 7.
