With a holiday crunch on, the U.S. Postal Service is expanding hours at some Massachusetts post offices – including in Cambridge, according to a Friday press release. On Saturday and Dec. 18, the Central Square post office will match some others’ 3 p.m. closing times; on Sunday and Dec. 19, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. when other Cambridge post offices are closed.
The Clifton Merriman Post Office Building is at 770 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square.
