During a flash storm at around 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Pia Agliati was on the ninth floor of Harvard’s Continuum building at Western and Harvard streets in Allston, looking toward the university’s Harvard Stadium behind its McCurdy Track, and caught this lightning strike. This week is expected to finally provide a break from the scorching intensity of recent temperatures in the high 90s; after hitting near 100 degrees on Tuesday with an 80 percent chance of rain, Wednesday should start a run of days with highs in the 70s.
