I was raised in Paris, and my fashion has always been about elegance and function. That’s why, despite my French roots, Old Navy has become my go-to store in the United States, a daily staple that surprises people when I tell them where my outfit is from. “You got that in Paris, didn’t you?” “Old Navy.”

The chain nails the basics: structured blazers, classic denim, soft knits and clean lines. But what truly sets it apart is the range and fit. Whether you’re petite, plus-size or in-between, the brand’s Bodequality initiative launched in 2021 means all sizes (0-30) are available at the same price in the same section and designed using real body data. The fit is consistent, flattering and feels like it was made for you. Never did I think I would get as many compliments on my Mother jeans as on my classic flare-cut Old Navy jeans, but here we are.

Over the past decade, its design team has become more intentional and artistic. Led by creatives who hand paint many of the brand’s prints and color palettes, the clothing reflects a genuine joy in design. The pieces feel thoughtful without being overworked – perfect for a woman who appreciates simplicity and style.

In February 2024, the arrival of Zac Posen as chief creative officer brought a new level of polish to the brand. Known for his red carpet designs, Posen adds a quiet sophistication that elevates the everyday.

My daily outfit is typically about 50 percent from the brand. Most people are surprised, but that’s the beauty of it: Old Navy combines Parisian ease with American accessibility. It’s affordable, versatile and never boring. For anyone who wants stylish, well-fitting clothes that work with your lifestyle and body, Old Navy is more than a store – it’s a style partner. And for me, it’s where modern basics meet timeless confidence.
