NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Planning Board of the City of Cambridge will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. held remotely (see below for instructions to participate) on a Zoning Petition by Cambridge City Council to amend the Cambridge Zoning Ordinance in Article 4.000 with the intent to Amend Section 4.60 to redefine short-term rental, add definitions for โoperator-occupied short-term rental,โ โowner-adjacent short-term rentalโ and โbooking agent,โ add conditions of authorized uses to comply with the state building code, fire code, sanitary code, and all other state and local habitability requirements, add requirements to provide booking information and other documentation to the City upon request, and add enforcement mechanisms for violation of the ordinance or state regulations.

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) is seeking the services of up to five (5) qualified design teams to provide professional planning, design, and construction administration services in connection with Select Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Services at Cambridge
Housing Authority Developments and Affiliated and Client Sites.
Work under this contract will be identified and performed on an on-going basis until the feeโs
upset limit is reached. Upon identification of a priority modernization project by the CHA, the design team shall evaluate the project and attend a task order discussion session with the CHA.
The design team shall then submit a detailed proposal for that specific project including the scope of work, the process/methodology and specific tasks to be undertaken, staff assignment, a fee proposal based on the attached fee schedule and hourly rates negotiated at the time of execution of a contract with the awarded firm(s), and timetable. Upon approval of the task order
by the CHA, the design team will proceed with design work and construction administration of
the specific capital improvement project.
A briefing session will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10:00am online. Please email Devin Chausse at dchausse@cambridge-housing.org to request the link. While
attendance is not mandatory, we encourage you to attend.
