The Community Preservation Act (CPA) Committee hereby gives notice of its public hearing scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The hearing will be conducted virtually through Zoom.
The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comment on the funding allocation percentages for Affordable Housing, Open Space/Recreation, and Historic Preservation projects eligible for Community Preservation Act funding in FY26. Each year, the City is required to spend at least 10% of its annual CPA allocation on each category. The remaining percentage can be used towards any of the three funding categories.

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA), the Owner and Managing Agent for its affiliate properties, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, invites sealed bids for Automatic Fire Alarm Equipment – Inspection, Testing and Repair at Various Locations, in Cambridge, MA in accordance with the specifications as written by the Cambridge Housing Authority. The not-to- exceed value of this contract is $500,000.00. The term of this contract will be for a period of three years, or until the funds are fully expended, whichever occurs first. The category for which the General Bidder must be DCAMM-certified is Alarm Systems.
