Cambridge police said two people were taken to local hospitals after being injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened near 1 a.m. in The Port.
Police closed Market Street at its intersection with Columbia Street as well as some nearby streets in The Port neighborhood while an investigation was conducted., according to a citywide alert sent at 1:02 a.m. Friday. The roadway has been re-opened to vehicle traffic.
A police spokesperson said it expected to share more information later on Friday.
