These photos are from the Kendall Square Association (KSA)’s 2026 Kendall Community Window Painting. Young artists from across Cambridge made streetside windows their canvases, using tempera paint and brushes supplied by the KSA. Windows were provided through KSA members like BGRE, Biomed Realty, The Marriott and MITIMCo.
About 60 people, most of them schoolchildren, spent the afternoon of Oct. 18 turning the innovation district into a vibrant art gallery.
Levanagh McDonald, communications director at the KSA, said the now four-year-old event aims to connect Cambridge youth and local families with the Kendall Square neighborhood, transforming the streetscape while building community through public art.
The KSA hosts regular community events, and McDonald encouraged people to check out its calendar.
