Cambridge’s Erin Souza writes about style for Stuff magazine, but that’s not why she was chosen to model Thursday for Ann Taylor. She walked the runway at an Ann Taylor/Boston magazine event, held in the penthouse of Boston’s The Clarendon residences to celebrate Friday’s opening of an Ann Taylor concept store at the nearby Prudential Center, because she’s a legislative staff director at the Massachusetts State House — and Ann Taylor’s into that kind of thing. (Another model, for instance, was Katie Powell, an assistant district attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.) Some may remember  Souza from her contributions to The Alewife, a newspaper that covered North Cambridge for three years starting in 2004.
