Really, Porter Square CVS? While you may have been suffering a bit at the time this photo was taken — February 2011 — and again in August, when city councillor Minka vanBeuzekom took her own photo of this “harmacy” sign, it’s now some 15 months after the “p” went out. And stock for the Woonsocket, R.I.-based CVS Caremark Corp. is doing just fine. Those lows of $32.67 and $32.37 per share, respectively, must be all but forgotten at your current $43.80 stock price, and yet residents of the square have to gaze daily at this tribute to an album Sebadoh put out in 1996. Isn’t it time to replace a light bulb or two? CVS Pharmacy, er, harmacy, heal thyself.

Update: The sign was fixed in June 2012, nearly a year and a half after going out. You’d think for a place open 24 hours they could have found the time …
