The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra sincerely thanks Charles Stark Draper Laboratory for its generous operating support for the CSO’s current concert season, our 35th. Draper’s appreciation of the “opportunities in the arts that the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra provides to performers and audiences in our community” is a heartening sentiment for a local arts organization in these difficult economic times.  Draper is to be congratulated on its commitment to the Cambridge community.

The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra is a community music organization that provides a welcoming environment for players and audiences through outstanding concerts, events and social action. Our diverse corps of more than 70 adult amateur musicians hail from Cambridge and numerous surrounding communities. Each year the full orchestra performs public concerts at reasonable prices in Cambridge as well as a free outdoor Pops concert and free chamber music concerts.
