Your guide to Cambridge’s farmers markets
With the Harvard University farmers market starting at noon Tuesday, Cambridge has a market for every day of the week through Oct. 27 — although anyone with a daily rather than weekly need for locally sourced bread, chocolate, produce or cheese will have to chase around five neighborhoods to take care of their list. (Harvard and Kendall squares double up.)
But how to keep track day to day? How about a handy graphic of where the markets are and when they run?
Our city and state governments have made it easy to gather up the information about the markets; if you feel the graphic needs more — who’s taking part, for instance — send e-mail letting us know and we can do an update. Thanks also to photo providers such as BostonZest.com, who have been writing about the pleasures of local farmers markets for much longer and much more completely.
