030915i-Andy-Weigl-CSOFrom Josh Garstka, president of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, March 5: Heartfelt thanks to Cambridge Trust Co., Cambridge Savings Bank and Draper Laboratory for their recent financial support for the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra. Cambridge Trust continues to underwrite tickets to our concerts for low- to moderate-income youth. Cambridge Savings Bank will again sponsor our upcoming March concert. Draper Laboratory has again provided operating support for our small but vibrant community music organization. Our funders provide a patchwork of support that enables the CSO to continue serving the community.

Now celebrating its 40th season, the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community music organization that provides a welcoming environment for players and audiences through outstanding concerts, events and social action. The only community orchestra performing in Cambridge or Somerville, it presents reasonably priced concerts for the general public and free outreach concerts for audiences who might not otherwise hear live classical music. The CSO has more than 80 musicians, and our audiences hail from Cambridge, Somerville, Boston and numerous surrounding communities.
