From the City of Cambridge, Dec. 4, 2015: The Public Health Department is offering free flu vaccine to adults and children (age 6 months and older) by appointment only from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursdays at the departmentโ€™s office on the ground floor of 119 Windsor St., near Central Square. FluMist is available for children under age 18.

Vaccine will be offered as long as supplies last.

While there is no charge to the public for flu shots, people with health insurance are encouraged to bring their cards with them to the clinics.

Flu vaccine is also available through pharmacies for those adults 18 and older and doctorsโ€™ offices. Flu shots are covered by most Massachusetts health insurance plans.
