From the Council on Aging, March 23, 2016: A public workshop on hoarding called “Finders/Keepers” is scheduled to be presented from 9:30 a.m. to noon April 12 by Lee and Bec Shuer at the Citywide Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square.

The workshop is intended for people who know someone who has enough household clutter that it is affecting family relationships, threatening their own safety or even frustrating to the hoarder,  who just can’t seem to get the clutter under control.

Lee Shuer is a self-defined “finder/keeper.” He will be accompanied by his wife, Bec Shuer, who will talk about the issue from the perspective of working and living with someone who challenges typical ideas of “home sweet home.”

This event is free, but registration is required by calling (617) 349-6048 or sending email to Liz Seelman at [email protected].
