From the City of Cambridge, July 18, 2016:ย Residents interested in filling a vacancy on the Cambridge Water Board should apply by Aug. 19. This is an extension of the original July 1 deadline.
This five-member board is appointed by theย city managerย to advise theย managing director of the Cambridge Water Department.ย Members typically help develop, modify and approve policy related to department-owned land and land use. The board generally meets from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Walter J. Sullivan Water Purification Facility,ย 250 Fresh Pond Parkway, in West Cambridge.
