From the Men’s Health League, April 20, 2017: The 24th Annual Hoops ’N’ Health tournament takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 24 – with the health fair part running within that time, from noon to 4 p.m. – at Hoyt Field (Gilmore and Montague streets off Western Avenue), Riverside. (It was originally scheduled for June 17, but expectations of rain moved the date.)
In addition to a basketball tournament, this free citywide event will feature health information and screenings, live entertainment, free food, cooking demonstrations and prizes.
