No motor vehicle travel will be permitted from Cambridge into Boston on the Longfellow Bridge during work beginning at 9 p.m. June 11 until 5 a.m. June 12, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation says. Only motor vehicle travel lanes on the bridge from Cambridge to Boston will be closed during; travel lanes will stay open for cars going from Boston to Cambridge and for pedestrians, bicyclists and the MBTA red line.

Signs and law enforcement will guide drivers through the work area. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes, reduce speed and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
