The Community Charter School of Cambridge in East Cambridge will not host polling locations for the Sept. 6 primary and Nov. 8 general election, voters were warned on Friday.

Though the Bent Street school had been listed as having a polling place for residents in Ward 2, precincts 2, 3 and 3a, people in those precincts who want to vote in person are being redirected by the Election Commission:

  • Voters in Ward 2, Precinct 2, must go to the community room of the Harry S Truman Apartments, 25 Eighth St., East Cambridge, using the Thorndike Street entrance.
  • Voters in Ward 2, precincts 3 and 3a, must go to the Cambridge library’s O’Connell Branch, 48 Sixth St., East Cambridge, using the rear entrance.

“Your polling location will NOT be the Community Charter School of Cambridge,” the commission told residents in emails sent by Lesley Waxman, its assistant director. “Please disregard all polling location information you may have received prior to this letter.”
