Free document shredding will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 9 in front of Citywide Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square, Cambridge.
Members of the public can dispose of personal and confidential paper documents securely and on the spot in a mobile shredding truck – first come, first served or until the truck is full – and sent to be recycled. There’s a limit of five paper-size boxes per household, or the equivalent.
Any parking meter on Bigelow Street by Cambridge City Hall that has a “reserved” sign can be used for dropping off documents to be shredded.
