The Ordinance Committee, comprised of the entire membership of the City Council, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 12:00p.m., on a Zoning Petition by Joseph S. Ronayne, et al. to amend the Cambridge Zoning Ordinance in Articles 4.000, 5.000, and 8.000 with the intent to allow multifamily residential uses across the city and eliminate footnotes that further restrict residential development within fully residential districts and to bring Res A and B uses in line with existing Res C uses, making multifamily uses both permissible and feasible. The Ordinance Committee will also be discussing amendments to the Tenantsโ€™ Rights Ordinance, POR 2024 #54.

This public hearing will beย  hybrid allowing participation in the Sullivan Chamber, City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA and remotely via ZOOM.
