For a look at how unlikely it is that Chris Gethard (TruTV, HBO) and Eddie Pepitone (“Conan,” UCB) share a stage, look at the titles of their podcasts. Gethard, an insightful presence on the alt-comedy scene, explores the stories of unknown callers on “Beautiful/Anonymous,” while the “sardonically enlightened” Pepitone broadcasts the sketches and rants of his “Apocalypse Soon” from his “bunker.” And yet the two have found enough commonality and mutual admiration to tour together. Both share deep care for the world they live in and the people who populate it, and to hear them explore it in such different tones ensures there’s something for everyone at this show, no matter how you think about the future of humanity – hopeful or hopeless, optimistic or over it. Their tour also features Keegan Tindall.
