The Healey-Driscoll administration’s Federal Funds and Infrastructure Office holds an information and listening session at Tufts University on Tuesday to show Somerville and Medford area officials how the state “can support local infrastructure projects,” according to a press release Monday from the office, which tracks federal funding and advocates for projects in Massachusetts.

After a presentation on available resources and support for municipal infrastructure projects, attendees can join small group discussions and meet directly with state officials. “We want to hear directly from communities about local priority projects so the administration can support these key investments,” director Quentin Palfrey said.

The meeting is one of the last of 12 in-person events resulting from legislation approved Sept. 24 that unlocked “up to $750 million for Massachusetts to aggressively pursue federal funding opportunities.” The session will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tufts University Alumnae Hall, 40 Talbot Ave., Medford.
