The CRLS boys’ basketball team led the entire way in its 60-53 defeat of Brockton on Friday. Player-of-the-game Imam Firmin scored 22 points and added four rebounds, six assists and one steal. Morris Lichtenstein registered a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. He also had six steals, two assists and two blocks. Jaydaan Correia added nine points and eight rebounds, and Aaron Abebe also scored nine points.

Girls’ basketball: The girls’ basketball team lost 49-43 to a seasoned Arlington Catholic team on Friday. Jennifer Duverglas and Jai’Lyse Gomes-Keel led with 11 points each. Jaida Hope and Nada Elfathy added seven points apiece. 

Boys’ track: The boys’ track team participated in the first Dual County League meet of the season Saturday and defeated Lincoln-Sudbury, 65-35. The meet also featured Acton-Boxborough, Newton South, Concord-Carlisle and Westford Academy. The top CRLS runners in the 600-meter run were Leon Ibanez-Fraile (second place, 1:27.40) and Henry Parker (third place, 1:27.81). In the 2-mile run, Thomas Dewitt finished third (10:12.43). The 4×200 relay team of Joshua Silber, Winslow Lively, Matthew Shokoti and Miel Henry took second (1:36.25). In the long jump, Jarehl O’Bannon finished first with a jump of 19 feet and 3½ inches.

Girls’ track: The girls’ track team defeated Lincoln-Sudbury, 73-26. In the 2-mile run, Sophia Juanes Seto finished first (11:11.10). In the 55-meter hurdles, Corrine Augustine took second (10.42). Neva Hartman finished first in the 300-meter run (1:42.84). In the 1,000-meter run, Lauren Sebesta finished third (3:34.57).

Girls’ swimming: The girls’ swimming team lost to Newton South, 99-85. Bess Sterman finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:07.29) and 500-yard freestyle (5:36.22), qualifying for the state championship in the events. Laura Park qualified for states in the 50-yard freestyle (first place, 26.46) and 100-yard freestyle (57.84). In the 100-yard breaststroke, Lila Nguyen came in first (1:14.48) to qualify for states. The 4×50 freestyle relay team (Nguyen, Bianca Etkin, Park and Sterman) also qualified for states with a time of 1:48.82).

Boys’ swimming: The boys’ swimming team lost to Newton South, 94-89. Captain Hong-Joon Koh qualified for the state championship in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.00. The 4×50 freestyle relay team (Khantushing Lkhagvajargal, Evan Wei, captain Giacomo Cotta-Ramusino Zambotti and Hong) qualified for the state championship with a time of 1:36.39.

Boys’ hockey: The boys’ hockey team lost to Newton North on Saturday, 7-1. Josh Pite scored the lone Falcons goal, assisted by Joshua Abramson and Liam Molberger.
